Everyone at Arlington Church of the Brethren contributes to worship, community life, and service. The congregation employs several professional staff members to work in specified areas in addition to the full-time pastor. Much of the building upkeep is also done by volunteers in coordination with our Stewards Commission. Contact the church office to be connected to any one of our staff.
Part-time Information Minister, Suzanne Lay, MSW, creatively shares ACoB’s ministries and events with our congregation and the greater community. She represents the church as a first point of contact and manages our communications systems. In addition to fielding questions and making connections, she prepares our weekly print and e-bulletins, maintains our website and social media sites, and keeps our calendar and contacts up to date.
Andy E. Price, SPC, CAGO, serves as Music Director & Organist, and directs both the Vocal Choir and the Handbell Choir. Andy coordinates the music program of the church working with both the pastor and the Music Committee.
Arlington Church of the Brethren has a wonderful pipe organ thanks to the investment and funding of numerous music lovers in and related to the congregation. The rebuilt instrument was dedicated in October 2009. Chimes were added in 2010.
Nate Fields, a member of the congregation is employed to care for the grounds. Rick Fields also donates much time to seed and maintain the lawn, bushes and trees.
A Cleaning Contractor has been employed to care for the main and upper floors of the building and the IRPE congregation now cleans the lower floor (Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, Hallways and Classroom).
