Note Cards for Neighbors

Taking to heart a conversation about family separation at a monthly church meet-up and further motivated after reading a report of RAICES reuniting a family, some parents at Arlington COB in the MAD District wanted to help. To start, they’ve printed 250 cards to raise at least $700 for lawyers, social workers and advocates responding directly and communicating widely about the needs they find.

Use the cards for stationary to friends to keep up awareness and notes to legislators to keep up the call for our country to right this terrible wrong and fix our asylum and immigration policies in a way that values all people as God’s children.

Do you want to support the effort by donating to receive one or more cards? Can you ask your friends to do the same? Being part of the effort not only funds help but also imparts our Brethren value that we are to be one great fellowship of love, no matter our race or birthplace.

Please make use of the following flyer and sample bulletin/newsletter language to help spread the word in your congregation or neighborhood.
