Worship services are one hour with scheduled scripture readings, a children’s message, and pastor’s message. There is time for silent prayer and sharing of congregational joys and concerns. Worship services are diverse in their presentation of music, including a rich tradition of pipe organ and congregational singing of traditional hymns. Services also typically include an offering by one of the choirs or special music (vocal or instrumental) by members of the congregation.
Bread and Cup Communion is held as part of the morning worship service four times a year and as part of the Christmas Eve Service on December 24. Love Feast, a special Brethren service that includes a simple meal, communion, and feet-washing, is held once each year on Maundy Thursday before Easter.
Refreshments are served following the worship on the second Sunday of each month.
