DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to the conclusion of our Summer Worship Series shared by Arlington Church of the Brethren\, Arlington Forest United Methodist\, Bethel United Church of Christ\, and First Vietnamese American UMC. We gather (this year via Zoom) each Sunday morning in August. On this fifth Sunday we will gather via Zoom at 9 am (*Note corrected time) and physically distanced in person at Glen Carlyn Park at 10:30 am. \nThe first Sunday (8/2)\, we gathered on Arlington Forest United Methodist’s Zoom link and heard from their new Pastor William Chaney preaching. The second Sunday (8/9) we welcomed new community partner hosts\, First Vietnamese American United Methodist\, with Pastor William preaching again. The third Sunday (8/17) we gathered on Bethel United Church of Christ’s Zoom link with Pastor Anne Holmes preaching. The fourth Sunday (8/23) we gathered on Arlington Church of the Brethren’s Zoom link with Pastor Matt Rittle preaching. And on the fifth Sunday (8/30) we’ll gather on Zoom at for a short reflective style service at 9 am followed by a physically distanced “BYO everything” picnic at Glen Carlyn Park at 10:30 am. \nPlease note there is a different Zoom link each week in August\, which can always be accessed in the early Sunday morning e-mail.
