Arlington Church of the Brethren has a long history of welcoming and including everyone in ministry and leadership. We are currently part of the Supportive Communities Network of Church of the Brethren and Mennonite communities who are publically affirming of gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual members. Our active membership with the SCN reflects many years of fellowship with, service to, and leadership from our LGBTQ+ brothers, sisters and siblings in Christ.
Being part of this growing group is a prophetic statement of welcome for ALL, a step toward equality for ALL, and a witness to our own denomination on the side of justice.
